Question: I just need a simple invoicing program for my small home based business. Can you recommend something?

Answer: I found just the product for you. It’s offered by QuickBooks and it’s called QuickBooks Simple Start 2008 for Windows. The best part is the price: it’s free. If you just need a simple accounting software that does the basics, this is one I can recommend.

There is also an open source alternative to QuickBooks and it’s called GnuCash. GnuCash is personal and small-business financial-accounting software. The download size is 51.8MB compared to the Simple Start 2008 download size of 343MB.
