How to install WordPress. Maybe you’re not a do-it-yourself type person when it comes to installing software on your server and that’s ok. Maybe you just want to blog or you would like an easy solution to maintain your website. That’s where I can help. I offer a WordPress Installation Service.
WordPress is blogging software, but you can also use WordPress as a Content Management System. A CMS allows you to update your website from an administration panel. That means you are in control of your blog or website.
WordPress Themes or blog templates are available to create a look and feel that represents you. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
- WordPress Theme Viewer. This is the official site for WordPress Themes which have been checked and inspected, and are free for downloading.
- The Revolution themes are widget-ready, customizable themes that provide ideal solutions for online magazines, online newspapers, and other websites that wish to use WordPress as a content management system. (Premium)

- Premium News Themes designed by Adii. Magazine and news-style websites are popular right now and these themes allow you to have your very own at an affordable price. (Premium)
Plugins extend WordPress to do almost anything you can imagine such as including a WordPress shopping cart, hosting your own Podcasts, or adding an html form. You could even create your own eBay store using WordPress.
Do you have a blog host? If not, I highly recommend Tiger Technologies. You get great web hosting with free domain starting at $6.25 per month. Plus they have the best technical support in the business.
Here is what is included in my WordPress Installation Service:
- Professional installation of the latest stable version of WordPress on your server.
- Choice of up to five WordPress Plugins installed.
- Choice of one theme installed (see above). Premium themes must be purchased by you.
- Personalized, one-on-one customer service via email for 14 days to help you get started. I will personally answer your questions promptly.
All this for only $35.00. After the installation is complete, you will receive instructions via email on how to use your new blog. Additional assistance such as theme customization, adding a website logo or header, or installation of additional plugins, is not included in the installation service. I am available to do those things and you’ll find my rates very reasonable.
Ready to get started? First, contact me via my contact form. Provide me with some details about your project. I’ll also need to get some information from you such as FTP and MySQL database details. You will be able to provide that information via a secure form. I’ll provide you with a link to provide that information.
