Babyl - Forever In Our Hearts

Update - July 24, 2008

Babyl passed away on July 24, 2008. She became Hypoglycemic due to complications from Coccidia. Although the coccidia was cleared up with antibiotics, she never overcame the hypoglycemia. But she will not suffer any longer. She will forever be in our hearts. We dedicate this poem to her:

Forever In Our Hearts

God looked around His garden. And He found an empty place. He then looked down upon

This earth and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest.

God’s garden must be beautiful. He always takes the best.

He knew that you were in pain. He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

So He closed your weary eyelids.
And whispered, “Peace Be Thine.”

He then took you up to Heaven with
Hands gentle and so kind.

It broke our hearts to loose you, Babyl,
But you did not go alone.

For part of us went with you
The day God called you Home.

Babyl is the newest addition to our family. She is a cute, cuddly, happy puppy. Several months ago we began our search for the perfect furry family member to live with us in our apartment. A few weeks ago, our breeder had three of these Papichon (a Papillon/Bichon mix) puppies. We picked Babyl, the female of the group. She is perfect for us. She is 9 weeks old, born on April 30, 2008. Babyl (pronounced with a long a) is a tiny little thing but a bundle of fun and love. I wanted to share some photos of her here and I’m sure you’ll agree that she is a cutie.
